Feeling Indigo

September is that time of year when the weather is still nice, but that feeling of back to school never leaves you from childhood.

It is usually still warm out and feels like summer for a couple of weeks. I always like to think about these transitional times as a way to pull newness into my looks or hold on to the last few minutes of the season. As far as summer goes, I always try to hold on tight. Bare feet and all.

I recently reorganized my closet and I realized that I have a lot of white tops with lace. I can’t help it I love them. Some of them or vintage and some of them are new. The vintage ones are always my favorite. They have a real authenticity to them and a certain quality that can’t always be replicated. I love pairing a vintage lace top with a faded pair of indigo jeans to create a casual, yet slightly polished look.
