Spring Refresh

When I am feeling like I need a little pick me up, I try to do something simple to reboot.

Step 1: Cut roughly a yard of bakers twine. (Simple trick to tell what a yard is stretch your arms out from side to side. From end to end of your finger trips is roughly a yard.)

Step 2: Wrap around the bakers twine once and tie in a tight double knot. Then continue wrapping around multiple times until it feels secure and tie a double knot.

It is so easy to overextend yourself with daily routines, play & everything else in between so making a little “me time” is necessary.

I love hanging eucalyptus in the shower to create some aromatherapy. If you’re like me and take “HOT” showers, then the steam will enhance the scent of the eucalyptus. Regardless of your temperature shower, fresh eucalyptus smells lovely so the bathroom is a great place to hang them. The good news is it only takes 2 minutes to do.

Depending on the time of year you can look for eucalyptus at your local farmers market or grocery store.

All you need is below.

  1. Eucalyptus (2-6 branches depending on the amount you want)

  2. Bakers Twine

  3. Scissors

Step 3: Decide how low you want to hang it. I suggest to do it closer to the shower head so it does not interfere with your stream of water when you are showering.

Step 4: Enjoy. This should last 1 - 2 weeks.
